Why use protector?

When carpet is first installed, protector has already been applied. Over time through normal use and cleaning, the protector wears off and carpet manufacturers recommend re-applying the protector after each professional carpet cleaning. This restores the same kind of protection your carpet had when it was new. It helps to resist both oil and water based soils and spills. Reapplying the protector brings carpet back to full protection.
